Fiber Filter Bags (F58) - 100 count

These filter bags are used to test fiber in food and feed samples. They work best with small, fine-ground samples.

What it does

• Holds a sample safely during fiber testing
• Lets liquid pass through easily, even with very fine samples
• Reduces clumping problems that can cause wrong test results
• Gives clean, accurate test results

• Made for fine samples: Works best with small grind sizes (0.5 – 1.0 mm), often used for NIR (near-infrared) testing
• Better liquid flow: Special material lets chemicals reach the sample better than standard bags
• Reduces errors: Helps prevent falsely high results caused by sample clumping
• Good for multiple tests: Works for crude fiber, neutral detergent fiber, and acid detergent fiber testing
• Note: F58 is not validated for use in the DAISY Incubator (for in vitro studies). It also cannot be used to support follow-on assays for nitrogen or 72% H2SO4 lignin (due to the material used)
